HOT SPRINGS — Little Rock Parkview repeated as Class 6A boys' basketball state champions with a 69-65, double overtime victory over Jonesboro at Summit Arena in Hot Springs.

It was the Patriots' (25-5) turn to come back from a deficit in the first overtime. When Daryl Macon's three drew nothing but air, Emmanuel Adoyi grabbed the rebound and got the short jumper to go after bouncing around the rim as time expired to send it to a second overtime knotted t 60.
The Patriots were able to outlast the Golden Hurricane (23-8) in the second extra session, with Adoyi getting steal, lay-up and foul to complete the three-point play and make it 67-63 Parkview with 55.4 seconds left and assure the Patriots of a repeat at state.
Adoyi was named 6A tournament Most Valuable Player with a career-high 26 points and 13 rebounds. Kahron Ross had 25 in the loss for Jonesboro.
