FAIRFIELD BAY — The deadline for ordering seeds from the Little Red River Audubon Society for its Backyard Birdseed Sale is Tuesday.

Purchasers will pay for the items when picking them up from 9-11 a.m. March 31 at Simmons Bank on Dave Creek Parkway in Fairfield Bay; or from 1-3 p.m. April 1 at Archey Fork Park in Clinton.
All proceeds will go toward scholarships to send local children to the Halberg Ecology Camp each year.
The following options are available for purchase: 25 pounds Black Oil Sunflower Seed, $15; 25 pounds Wild Bird Seed, $10; 5 pounds Thistle (Nyjer) Seed, $7; Wire Basket for Suet Cake, $4; Suet Cake (Seed), $3; Suet Cake (Cornmeal), $3; Suet Cake (Hot Pepper),$3; and Suet Cake (Peanut), $3.
