Governor’s appointments

— Gov. Mike Beebe announced he made the following appointments Monday:

Christian “Trey” Ashcraft, Pine Bluff, appointed to the Arkansas Natural Heritage Commission for a term expiring Jan. 14, 2021, replacing Wade Williams.

Brandon Baker, Morrilton, appointed to the state Fire Prevention Commission for a term expiring July 18, 2014, replacing Lee Zuehlke.

Hayward Battle Sr., Little Rock, appointed to the Board of Visitors for the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Sciences and the Arts for a term expiring Jan. 14, 2019, replacing Marynell Branch.

Jacqueline Bettis, Fayetteville, appointed to the Arkansas Independent Living Council for a term expiring Feb. 1, 2014, replacing Billy Altom.

Henry “Sonny” Blackwell, Bald Knob, appointed to the state Board of Barber Examiners for a term expiring June 30, 2014, replacing Doyle Wallace.

Raul Blasini, Pocahontas, reappointed to the Arkansas Minority Health Commission for a term expiring Jan. 31, 2014.

Forest Boles, Little Rock, appointed to the Arkansas Division of Volunteerism Advisory Council for a term expiring Jan. 7, 2015, replacing Cary Tyson.

Mary Jane Bradley, Jonesboro, appointed to the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling for a term expiring Dec. 1, 2014, replacing Linda Barnes.

Jo Ann Campbell, Fort Smith, appointed to the state Library Board for a term expiring Oct. 18, 2018, replacing Donna McDonald.

Robert “Crash” Carruthers, Morrilton, appointed to the Arkansas Agriculture Board for a term expiring Aug. 15, 2015, replacing Kenneth Davis.

Mark Coffman, Hector, appointed to the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling for a term expiring Dec. 1, 2014, replacing Christy Fitch-Francis.

Mitch Colvin, El Dorado, appointed to the Petroleum Storage Tanks Advisory Council for a term expiring Dec. 31, 2015, replacing Dan Crawford.

Jim Dailey, Little Rock, appointed to the state Parks, Recreation and Travel Commission for a term expiring Jan. 14, 2018, replacing Debbie Haak.

Jennifer Dillaha, Little Rock, appointed to the Arkansas Pygmalion Commission on Nontraditional Education for a term expiring June 30, 2015, replacing Michelle Smith.

Rickey Fore, Rison, appointed to the Cleveland County Quorum Court, District 8, for a term expiring Dec. 31, 2012, replacing Havis Hyatt.

Otis “Buddy” Franks Jr., Magnolia, reappointed to the Southern Arkansas University board of trustees for a term expiring Jan. 14, 2017.

Kathy Fulks, Perryville, appointed to the Arkansas Apprenticeship Coordination Steering Committee for a term expiring Dec. 1, 2014, replacing Lee Harris.

Rusty Guinn, Jonesboro, reappointed to the state Board of Collection Agencies for a term expiring Jan. 1, 2015.

Andrea Heflin, Little Rock, appointed to the Early Intervention Interagency Coordinating Council. Appointee serves atthe will of the governor, replacing Susan Perry Simpson.

Annette Herrington, Little Rock, appointed to the Arkansas Educational Television Commission for a term expiring March 23, 2020, replacing Sandy Landers.

Philip Hestand, Paragould, appointed to the Arkansas Board of Examiners in Counseling for a term expiring Dec. 1, 2014, replacing Dan Holmes.

Audrey House, Altus, appointed to the Arkansas Alternative Energy Commission. Appointee serves at the will of the governor, replacing Michael Drake.

Bobby Johnson, Cherry Valley, appointed to the state Forestry Commission, for a term expiring Jan. 14, 2021, replacing Tom Curtner.

Bob McCarley, Little Rock, appointed to the Arkansas History Commission for a term expiring Jan. 14, 2019, replacing Carl Barger.

Suzann McCommon, Helena-West Helena, reappointed to the Governor’s Commission on People with Disabilities for a term expiring Jan. 15, 2019.

James Metzger, Little Rock, appointed to the Arkansas Home Inspector Registration Board for a term expiring Jan. 26, 2014, replacing Bradley Williams.

James Miller, Augusta, appointed to the Governor’s Advisory Council on Aging for a term expiring Jan. 14, 2016, replacing Betty Butler.

Mike Mills, Ponca, reappointed to the state Parks, Recreation and Travel Commission for a term expiring Jan. 14, 2018.

Allen Morgan, Arkadelphia,appointed to the state Forestry Commission for a term expiring Jan. 14, 2016, replacing Don Nelms.

Dr. Benjamin Nimmo, Maumelle, to the Children’s Behavioral Health Commission for a term expiring August 15, 2013, replacing Ann Brown.

Dr. Carmen Paniagua, Little Rock, reappointed to the Arkansas Minority Health Commission for a term expiring Jan. 31, 2014.

Dr. Blake Perry, Little Rock, appointed to the Health Information Exchange Council and to the Southern Technology Council. Appointee serves at the will of the governor, replacing Dr. John Ahlen.

Harry Pompeo, Benton, appointed to the Arkansas School for the Blind and School for the Deaf board of trustees for a term expiring Jan. 14, 2014, replacing Janice Vaughn.

William Pryor, Conway, appointed to the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Licensing Board for a term expiring June 30, 2015, replacing Frank McKenney.

Kay Tannahill, Sheridan, appointed as Grant County constable for Franklin Township for a term expiring Dec. 31, 2012, replacing Leonard Green.

Mary Weeks, Little Rock, reappointed to the Arkansas School for the Blind and School for the Deaf board of trustees for a term expiring Jan. 14, 2017.

Brian Wiseman, Wiseman, appointed to the Izard County Quorum Court, District 8, for a term expiring Dec. 31, 2012, replacing Paul Phipps.
