I-40 eastbound reopens in Prairie County

— Eastbound Interstate 40 in Prairie County has reopened after crews removed a tractor-trailer involved in a wreck earlier this week, officials said.

The Arkansas Department of Highways and Transportation issued a statement just before 8 a.m. that the work had shut down both eastbound lanes at mile marker 200, which is between the Hazen exit and the Highway 33 exit.

Dispatchers said the highway had reopened by 10:30 a.m.
