LITTLE ROCK — Police: Radiator thief caught in act
A Sherwood man was arrested Thursday afternoon after police say they saw him trying to steal items from a Little Rock auto-parts business.
Officers were called to the Pick-N-Pull at 10312 Base Line Road shortly before 4 p.m. Thursday and found a man, later identified as Willie Powell, 50, of 8815 Woodbine St., attempting to steal five radiators, an arrest report states.
Powell fled the area on foot, but was caught and arrested, the report says. He was charged with one count of theft of property.
Powell was being held Thursday night in the Pulaski County jail.
