Arkansans will have the opportunity to share stories from their lives with StoryCorps, an organization that records and shares the stories of Americans.
The national, nonprofit organization has joined with Little Rock's NPR station, KUAR FM 89, to collect more than 130 interviews from people in the area. A segment of interviews will be aired locally and may also air on NPR's "Morning Edition."
StoryCorps will interview residents during its cross-country tour March 29 to April 30 in a mobile recording studio that will be parked near Daisy Bates Drive and Park Street. Reservations can be made at storycorps.org or at 1-800-850-4406.
