SUNLAND PARK, N.M. — Castaway, winner of one division of the Southwest Stakes at Oaklawn Park, heads a field of nine entered in today’s $800,000 Sunland Park Derby.
Castaway, one of two horses trained by Bob Baffert in the field, will be ridden by Rafael Bejarano, who rode Castaway to a 5-length victory in Hot Springs on Feb. 20.
