— Jennifer Michele Williams and Jaranimo Marks were united in marriage at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 17, at Second Baptist Church. Elder Robert Davis officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Gloria C. Williams of Little Rock. The groom is the son of Ericka Davis and Robert Marks of Arkadelphia.

Arrangements of dogwood flowers and roses and carnations in shades of lavender and violet decorated the altar. Music was by pianist Landon Deloach and vocalist James Giles.

Given in marriage by her brother, Joshua Williams, the bride wore an ivory fitand-flare gown with a sweetheart neckline and embellished with pearls and crystals. Crystals also edged her elbow-length veil. She carried a bouquet of lavender roses and violet carnations.

Maid of honor was Rachel Williams of Little Rock, sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Tonya Cannon, Ronitia Greer and Krystal Keown, all of Little Rock; Ashley Jones of North Little Rock; and Kenya Taylor of Arkadelphia. Flower girl was Jayla McKenzie Marks.

They wore dark purple cotton sateen dresses with ruching and pockets and carried bouquets of lavender, violet and white roses and carnations.

Jamar Marks of Arkadelphia served as his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Stevie Williams, Bradley Hill, Donny Summerville and Javian Davis, all of Arkadelphia; Joshua Williams of Little Rock; and Antonio Benjamin of Marksville, La.

A reception in the church’s Family Life Center followed the ceremony. Guest tables covered in white linens and silver and violet overlays held vases with floating violet candles. Centering the buffet were two large mercury vases holding a collection of branches and lavender and violet flowers.

The bride has a bachelor’s degree in communications from Henderson State University in Arkadelphia and will graduate in May from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences with a master’s degree in speech pathology/audiology. She is a member of the Iota Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority.

The groom is a graduate of Ouachita Baptist University in Arkadelphia with bachelor’s degree in communications/mass media. He is a sales support representative for AT&T.

After a trip to Eureka Springs, the couple will reside in Bryant.
