— Nuptial vows were exchanged by Lauren Kaye Godsey and John Daniel Neal at 3 p.m. Saturday, March 17, in First Baptist Church, Maumelle. The Rev. Dave Morley of First Baptist, Cabot, officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Judi and Quin S. Godsey III of North Little Rock and the granddaughter of the late Louise and Q.S. Godsey Jr. and the late Mae and George Morris, all also of North Little Rock.

Parents of the groom are Billie Fred and Jerry W. Neal of Maumelle. His grandparents are the late Oma Settlemyers of Memphis, the late James D. Neal of Houston, Miss., and the late John Clark and the late Bobbie Frances Clark, both of Redfield.

Two arrangements of hydrangeas, curly willow, garden roses, peonies and ranunculus were on each side of the altar. Music was by pianist Necia Williams and the Little Rock String Quartet.

Given in marriage by her parents, the bride wore a diamond white off-the-shoulder taffeta gown with ruching and a chapel train. Her fingertip-length veil was embellished with beading and she carried a bouquet filled with miniature calla lilies,garden roses, peonies, ranunculus, dusty miller and dark purple tea leaves.

Ashlee Williams of Little Rock was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Jill Harsch of Sherwood, cousin of the bride, and Christina Blue of Seattle. They wore knee-length strapless dresses of peacock blue satin and carried bouquets of hydrangeas, peonies, ranunculus, silver brunia, dusty miller and tea leaves.

Flower girls were Alex Powell, Drew Powell and Alyssa Harsch, all of Sherwood and cousins of the bride. Davis Ford of Little Rock was a ring bearer.

Best man was Daniel Robertson of North Little Rock. Groomsmen were Jason Neal of Denver, brother of the groom, and Darrin Ellison of Sherwood. Seating the guests were Noah Mejia of Benton, cousin of the groom, and Eddy Devora of Maumelle.

A reception at the Argenta Community Theater in North Little Rockfollowed the ceremony. Guest tables covered in ivory, peacock blue and green cloths were centered with tall arrangements of branches and flowers or low arrangements of wedding flowers in charcoal-colored urns. Music was by a DJ and by Elvis impersonator Matt Joyce. Assisting were Holly Bass, Devan Copeland, Lisa Raney, Necia Williams and Krista Murray, sister of the groom.

The bride has a bachelor’s degree in health-care management from Harding University in Searcy and graduated cum laude with a master’s degree in business administration from Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tenn. She is a manager of patient access for St. Vincent Health System.

The groom has a bachelor’s degree in health and exercise science from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. He is an executive for Professional Forms and Supplies and a published singer/songwriter.

The couple will live in Little Rock after a honeymoon in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
