SEARCY — The first in a series of town hall meetings for 2012 will be at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Carmichael Community Center Auditorium, 802 S. Elm St.
“The purpose of these town hall meetings will be to give the citizens of Searcy a convenient opportunity to express their views, concerns and opinions regarding the operation of their city government in Searcy,” Searcy Mayor David Morris said. “Hopefully, by holding these town hall meetings in various locations throughout the city, people will feel more at ease to attend and share information.”
The meetings aren’t only for people living in the particular areas; all Searcy residents areinvited to attend each meeting.
The dates of future town hall meetings will be announced later.
