Youth Ministry Days set at Williams Baptist College

— The 2012 Youth Ministry Days at Williams Baptist College, aimed at student ministers and others who lead youth in churches, will be held Tuesday and Wednesday. Student ministry specialist Scott Stevens will be the featured speaker.

The event, open to all churches and denominations, will begin with a communitywide session for youth ministers, volunteer leaders and parents from 7-8:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Moody Room of WBC’s Mabee-Gwinup Cafeteria.

A series of four 50-minute sessions will be held beginning at 8 a.m. Wednesday in the Moody Room. The sessions will explore in-depth issues and challenges relating to student ministry.

Stevens was most recently the director of student ministry work at LifeWay Christian Resources, and he taught student ministry at Howard Paine University in Texas.
