Crews search Thursday for a body spotted the night before in water at Boyle Park. The woman's body was recovered Friday.

Little Rock authorities have identified the woman whose body was found last week in Rock Creek.

Police say the woman was Beth Rutledge, 46, of Ridge Park Drive in Little Rock.

Her body was spotted Wednesday in high water in Boyle Park.

Police recovered the body shortly after 11 a.m. Friday from Rock Creek just north of Colonel Glenn Road.

Authorities added that autopsy results are pending and officials aren't yet sure how her body got into the creek.

A passerby first spotted the body in Boyle Park Wednesday night, but strong currents prevented firefighters from pulling it out of the water. It then drifted away overnight before search crews returned Thursday.
