BETTY JO LACY, 88, of Little Rock passed away March 24,2012. She was born on June 27, 1923, in Hatfield, Ark., to Emory and Maggie Lacy. She was a graduate of Mountain Pine High School, Ouachita Baptist College and SouthwesternSouthern Baptist Seminary. She taught school at Lake Hamilton and Bauxite. Her church related career as a minister of youth carried her to Albuquerque, N.M., Beaumont, Texas, and Hattiesburg, Miss. She completed her career in the Women’s Missionary Society for the Arkansas Baptist State Convention as Director of GA’s. She was a member of South Highland Baptist Church. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Marion, Randolph and Bill; two sisters, Alta Lois Outler and Milree Smith. She is survived by a sister, Imogene Reed of Little Rock; a brother James Lacy and wife Eileen of Hot Springs; a sisterin-law, Connie Lacy; and many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at Harvey’s Chapel Baptist Church near Mountain Pine. Burial will follow at Godwin Cemetery. CAROL “SUE” TODD, 61, of Jacksonville, Ark., passed awaySunday, March 25th, 2012. She was born Dec. 29, 1950, in Corpus Christi, Texas, to James and Nola Dean Williams Curtis. Sue loved her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She enjoyed cooking for her friends and family. Her father preceded her in death. Cherishing her memory are her husband of seven years, Edward Todd; her mother, Nola Curtis of Jacksonville; daughter, Amy Hughes of Little Rock; son, Benjamin Tegethoff of North Little Rock; step-son, Matthew Todd of Bryant; three grandchildren, Chase Tegethoff, Maddox Hughes, and Mallory Tegethoff; and host of other relatives and friends. A celebration of Sue’s life will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday March 28, 2012, in the outdoor chapel of Griffin Leggett-Rest Hills Memorial Park, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock (501) 835-3515 with Bro. RUBY NEAL WARNER, 99, of Maumelle, passed away onMarch 25, 2012.

She was born March 22, 1913, in Jena, La., to Luther and Lula Wright Neal.

She was retired from White County Medical Center where she worked as a RespiratoryTechnician. She enjoyed beingoutdoors and working in her garden. She also enjoyed working in her flower garden and caring for her roses. Ruby was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church in Cabot. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Elvin V. Warner, two sisters, seven brothers and one son-in-law, Carroll Lawrence. She is survived by four daughters, Ruth M. Wright and husband George of Heber Springs, Ark., Barbara L. Karger and husband Ted of Evansville, Ind., Ethel R. Lawrence of Little Rock, Ark., Jean Kalb and husband Larry of Maumelle, Ark.; 10 grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren, greatgreat-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends. Funeral services will be held 9 a.m. Wednesday at North Little Rock Funeral Home. Burial will be at Sumner Cemetery. CONWAY - Sharon Nicks Kellett, 64, daughter of the late Charles and Jessie Nicks passed away Friday in Conway. She is survived by her chindren Chad Heritage of Benton, Jeremy Kellett of Vilonia and Tiffany Kellett of Memphis; and seven grandchildren. CONWAY - William David Shockley, 63, of Conway, passed from this life on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Baptist Health Medical Center in Little Rock, following a lengthy illness. David was born on Dec. 19, 1948 in Lake Village, Ark., the first son of C.H. and Margie Shockley. He grew up in Lake Providence, La., where he was an outstanding athlete.After graduating high school, he was offered a football scholarship to attend UCA. He moved to Conway and played tackle for the UCA Bears. While at UCA, he met and married the love of his life, Carol Ann Sanders. They were married 43 yearsand had one son, Brett, who lives with his wife, Leigh Anne, in Arkadelphia. David was preceded in death by his father, and fatherin-law, Alvis “Sandy” Sanders. Besides his wife and beloved son and daughter-in-law, other survivors include his mother, Margie Shockley of Lake Providence, La.; two brothers, Tommy Shockley (Debbie) of Transylvania, La. and Matt (Kriss) Shockley of Humble, Texas; one sister, Tricia White (Robert) of St. Joseph, La.; brother-in-law, Boyed Sanders (Frances) of Conway; mother-in-law, Mildred Sanders of Conway; and a host of nieces and nephews. David retired from the FMC Corporation. In recent years, he was an avid Ouachita Baptist University Tigers fan, while following the career of his coaching son. Though he dealt with years of health challenges, he was cheerful, good-humored, and always anxious to help‚ loyal and devoted, loved, and missed by many. His faith in Jesus Christ gave him great comfort. Davidand Brett were not only father and son‚ they were best friends enjoying their time together hunting, fishing, and sharing sporting events. Family visitation will be Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m., at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway. A service celebrating David's life will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m., at the funeral home conducted by Mike Curry of Conway and musicians Ken Wesson and Donna Stowell. Pallbearers will be Brett Shockley, Alex Sanders, Nick Sanders, Matt Shockley, David Williams, and Robert White. Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Palmer, Chuck York, Skeet Morse, Tommy Shockley, Greg Church, and Boyed Sanders. Burial will follow at 5 p.m. at the Union Hill Cemetery at Ingalls, Ark. in Bradley County. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Light Ministries, P.O. ENGLAND - Betty Jane House Dean, 82, went to be with the Lord surrounded by family on March 24, 2012. What a reunion is going on in Heaven with family and friends who have gone on before. She was born on January 30, 1930 in Sherrill, Ark. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Jeralin Dean; her parents; two brothers and two sisters. She is survived by a son, Michael Dean of England, Ark., two daughters Susan (Jack) Kelsey of Little Rock, Ark. and Christy (Michael) Mashburn of England, Ark.; a brother David House II of England, Ark.; one sister Christine Newman of Ft. Worth, Texas; step-grandchildren Kellie (Fletcher) Clement, Derek (Dana) Kelsey, Micha Mashburn, Kimber Mashburn; step great-granddaughters Lindsey Fleming and Isabella Kelsey and many nieces and nephews that she loved very much. She was a member of the landmark Baptist Church in England for over 55 years where she was a GMA leader and Youth Sunday School teacher for many years. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 27 at 1:30 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home in England. Visitation will be Monday night from 6-8 at the funeral home.
