— A Harris hawk that escaped from the Little Rock Zoo last month has been returned to the facility after being found in Oklahoma, officials said.

Tuscon the hawk escaped on Feb. 21, breaking through some straps and flying off after being startled by a loud noise.

Five weeks later, the bird was found resting on a lawn just outside Tulsa, Okla. A representative of the Oklahoma Falconers' Association retrieved the bird and learned through online research that Little Rock was missing its hawk.

Tuscon was returned to the zoo over the weekend. Officials said in a statement the bird is trained "to fly glove-to-glove over audience members' heads" as part of the Zoo's Wild Wonders Animal Show.
