LITTLE ROCK — Henderson Middle School in the Little Rock School District was evacuated briefly Tuesday morning after a staff member reported smelling smoke, district spokesman Shikara Linsy said.
Firefighters investigated but found no fire. Students and staff returned to the building, Linsy said.
Henderson, which has an enrollment of 676 pupils in sixth, seventh and eighth grades, is at 401 Barrow Road in Little Rock.
