LITTLE ROCK — Over the past several years, I’ve written about products from Alexia, a company that makes a delicious array of frozen side dishes. Last year I mentioned the Sweet Potato Puffs, and at the time wrote about “Reinvent a Classic,” a contest that gave consumers an opportunity to vote for a flavor to join the company’s lineup.
The winner was Parmesan Lemon Waffle Fries, which should be in local stores now selling for about $3.50 per bag.

The convenient slices come in original and chocolate, and will be in your grocer’s frozen pie and dessert section. A box of six slices costs about $4.

In early February I wrote about the 100th birthday of the iconic Whitman’s Sampler, one of the most divine collections of chocolate I’ve ever seen, and the company’s “Kiss me, I’m 100” giveaway.
