LITTLE ROCK Gov. Mike Beebe was at Little Rock Central High School on Thursday morning taking part in the StoryCorps interview project, documenting his life story.
StoryCorps is a non-profit organization that travels the country getting people of all personalities to share there story through a running dialogue with a friend or a representative from StoryCorps. The interviews are stored in the Library of Congress and online so those interested can hear them played back.
Gov. Beebe shared his story, along with his wife Ginger, in the trailer StoryCorps provides as the pod for the interviews. He's one of a select number of people who will do so while the organization is in town.
During the day, Beebe also shared his thoughts on his coming trip to China to help boost economic relations between the state and the country.
