Search on for LR man wanted for questioning in missing-person case

Little Rock police are now searching for the man they think is tied to the disappearance of his girlfriend.

Authorities are searching for Michael Curtis Robinson, 29, who they say could be in a an 2004 Ford Explorer with a game and Fish license plate, number GF YIH.

Patrice Smith was reported missing Saturday by family.

According to a police report, Smith, 28, left her sister's residence at 11:30 p.m. that night with Robinson in the SUV.

Smith's family told an officer that the woman has a protective order against Robinson. Smith's father told police she was acting strangely Saturday night, and believes she may have been taken against her will.

Police also noted in the report that a neighbor of Robinson, who resides at 11200 Mara Lynn Drive, heard the two arguing around 1 a.m. Sunday.

Smith is described as black woman with light complexion, medium-length blond hair and brown eyes, approximately 5'2" and a heavy build. She was last seen wearing a purple v-neck shirt and light blue capri jeans.

Robinson is described as a black man, 5-11 and weighing around 225 pounds.
