PINE BLUFF — The University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff has hired Robert Wall Jr. as the new Physical Plant director.
Wall comes from Mississippi’s Alcorn State University, which recently built a $47 million student housing complex and has a nationally recognized custodial services program. He was Alcorn State’s director of operations.
He has also worked at Jackson State University, where the energy management program received best practice awards under his leadership. Before that, he worked in various positions for the Jackson Medical Mall Foundation, where he carried out computerized maintenance management and building automation systems.
Wall graduated from Morehouse College in Atlanta.
He will earn $100,000 at UAPB, a university spokesman said.
