Where I live: I live in Little Rock’s Hillcrest neighborhood with my adopted dog, Penny.

Occupation: I am the owner of E. Leigh’s Boutique. We have been an online boutique for the past year and we are planning to open a brick and mortar retail store at the corner of North Spruce Street and Kavanaugh Boulevard in late April.

My favorite space: It’s my bedroom.

Why? It’s my sanctuary. When I first started working out of my home, I realized that most of my spaces could quickly become work spaces. My living room would be cluttered with boxes for E. Leigh’s and there was no separation between my home life and my work life. Now, there are no laptops or work allowed in my bedroom. It’s peaceful, serene and luxurious. The rest of my house is colorful and vibrant but the bedroom is painted gray. It feels special and it’s where I go when I just need a minute for me.

If I could do one thing to improve this space, I would: Probably paint the walls a soft green or blue.
