Riverfest 2012. Three nights. Two full afternoons. Three main music stages. Downtown Little Rock. Let’s get right down to business. Here’s the lineup for all three main music stages with notes about select acts:

MILLER LITE AMPHITHEATRE STAGE
FRIDAY
6:45 p.m. School Boy Humor: Brothers Phil and Anthony Evans lead this punk-flavored pop rock band.
8 p.m. Neon Trees
9:30 p.m. Boyz II Men: This is what you need to know about this pop-flavored R&B singing group: “End of the Road” and “I’ll Make Love to You.”

SATURDAY
Noon: Dry County
1:15 p.m. The Frontier Circus: Frontier Dan says, “They may be coming on several hours later, but we are still opening for Lynyrd Skynyrd!” That’s true, and this Conway bunch will deliver their “a little bit psycho … a little bit Western” music as openers.
2:45 p.m. Good Time Ramblers: Love high-octane country and rock ‘n’ roll? Then you’ll love this Little Rock group.
4:15 p.m. Michael Shipp

7:15 p.m. Jonathan Tyler & the Northern Lights
9 p.m. Lynyrd Skynyrd: “Simple Man” is one of the greatest rock tunes ever recorded. Ditto “Tuesday’s Gone.”

3:45 p.m. Mandy McBryde: Little Rock’s McBryde is backed by an excellent band as she runs through her collection of roots- and folk-flavored rock ‘n’ roll.

9:45 p.m. Joe Walsh: Best use ever of a talk box? “Rocky Mountain Way.” (Don’t even mention that Frampton fella.) Walsh is a great guitarist (and a member of the Eagles) with a wicked sense of humor and responsible for some of the best classic rock songs ever written.

6:15 p.m. Weakness for Blondes
7:45 p.m. Gov’t Mule: Don’t be simple and refer to this Warren Haynes-led outfit as simply a jamband. There’s Southern rock and blues and funk, too.

3:15 p.m. Holy Shakes: Raw rock ‘n’ roll power from Hot Springs.

9:30 p.m. Rodney Block & the Real Music Lovers

Sunday
2 p.m. Swampbird: There’s a lot to love about this Conway outfit that plays 21st century Southern rock.
3:15 p.m. Interstate Buffalo: A Little Rock-based blues rock monster of a band.
4:30 p.m. Touch: Dig the Grateful Dead? You’ll love this Dead cover band comprised of some of the best local musicians around.
6:15 p.m. Joey Farr & the Fuggins Wheat Band
7:45 p.m. Zoogma: It’s Sunday night and time for the dancing to start with this electronic rock band from Oxford, Miss.
9 p.m. Durden: One of the best local DJs keeps the Sunday night party going as the fireworks begin.
9 p.m. Riverfest Fireworks Display
9:45 p.m. Archnemesis: Original electronica with samples of everything from early ’20s blues and jazz to modern hip-hop and soul.
