LITTLE ROCK — An Oklahoma woman was killed Friday afternoon after being struck by a car in Crawford County, according to an Arkansas State Police preliminary fatality report.
Shannon Watt, 42, of Stillwell, Okla., walked into the northbound lane of Arkansas 59 near Natural Dam after exiting a vehicle parked on the west shoulder of the highway. She was struck by a northbound 2010 Ford Focus and pronounced dead at the scene, according to the report.
Lisa Johnson, 47, of Uniontown, the driver of the car, was not injured in the accident, the report states.
