— Mom threatened to kill, police say

A Little Rock mother threatened to kill her daughter if she called police Sunday night as the daughter reported being struck to a 911 dispatcher, a police report says.

Latasha Jenkins, 33, of 1222 Russenberger Road faces felony terroristic threatening charges and misdemeanor domestic assault charges after she struck her daughter in the face at their home, the report stated.

Little Rock police responded to the home about 11 p.m.Sunday. No one was injured, the report says.

A dispatcher advised responding officers that Jenkins stated “If you call the police, I’ll kill you,” to her daughter over the 911 recorded line, according to the police report.

Jenkins was being held at the Pulaski County jail Monday night without bail, the report says.
