— A suspect remained in custody Tuesday evening in the shooting deaths of two people in Pine Bluff.

Adrian Patillo, 31, was held in the Jefferson County jail on two charges of first-degree murder and possession of a firearm by certain persons, according to the jail’s website.

Pine Bluff police officers found Marcus Thorns and Jennifer Wainwright shot at 1014 N. University Drive on Saturday after responding to a call.

Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene by the Jefferson County coroner’s office.

The details leading up to the shootings are under investigation by the Pine Bluff Police Department’s Detective Division, a news release from Lt. JoAnn Bates said.
