MAGNOLIA — Authorities are investigating the death of a 74-year-old Magnolia woman who was found dead after an apparent burglary at her home.
Police Chief Glenn Maxwell says a relative discovered the body of Glenda Stroman on Sunday. The Banner-News reports that Stroman's body has been sent to the state crime lab for an autopsy.
The police chief says authorities are still awaiting a cause of death but said Stroman suffered "serious bodily injury."
No one has been arrested. Authorities say the case is being investigated as a burglary but did not say if anything had been taken from Stroman's home.
