— A North Little Rock man accused of raping a woman May 14 remained in jail Tuesday, according to court documents.

Quinton Riley Jr., 25, pleaded innocent to rape and kidnapping charges in Little Rock District Court on May 25, a court document said.

Little Rock police arrested Riley at the North Little Rock parole office May 24 on charges that he picked up a woman and later bound and raped her, according to police documents.

The woman told police she was walking near the intersection of Wright Avenue and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive between 11 a.m. and noon May 14, when an unknown man offered her a ride in his new gray Dodge Charger, according to an affidavit.

She accepted the ride and after a few minutes in the man’s car, he said he wanted to have sex with her, according to the affidavit.

She said no, the affidavit said. The man continued driving as he demanded she take her clothes off, it said.

The woman questioned him.

“Don’t make me kill you,” the man responded, the affidavit said.

She saw the outline of a gun. In fear of her life, the woman undressed completely — placing her clothes in the back seat at the driver’s request, according to the affidavit.

Naked in the front seat, the woman was then taken to Cabot, according to the affidavit. There the man duct taped the woman’s hands, feet and eyes and made her lie in the back seat, the affidavit said.

Police say the man then drove the woman to an unknown location where he raped her.

From there, the driver took the woman to another unknown location and carried her into a building. He put more duct tape on her and left but promised to return, the affidavit said.

The woman managed to loosen the duct tape, escape the building and run for help. She contacted a man on East Lincoln Avenue who called police.

She then led police to 3030 E. Lincoln Ave., the residence where she said she was held. Detectives reported resident Christopher Bryles told police his cousin drives a gray Dodge Charger and is familiar with the residence.

Two days later, the victim identified Riley as the perpetrator from a photo spread, the affidavit said.

Riley is being held in the Pulaski County jail in lieu of $100,000 bond. He is currently serving four years’ probation on a weapons conviction.
