2 women killed in separate wrecks

— Two Arkansas women were killed in separate accidents on Arkansas 102 and Arkansas 27 Sunday and Tuesday, according to preliminary Arkansas State Police fatality reports.

At 11:17 p.m. Sunday, motorcycle passenger Andrea M. Wilson, 30, of Bentonville was killed on Arkansas 102 near Centerton.

Motorcycle driver Joshua D. Wilson, 33, of Bentonville lost control of his 2003 Honda motorcycle while eastbound on the highway. Both he and Andrea Wilson were ejected, the report said.

Andrea Wilson died while being taken to a hospital, the report said.

Joshua Wilson was injured and taken to Northwest Medical Center in Bentonville. Wilson was listed in good condition Wednesday, according to a hospital spokesman.

Kimberly Taff, 36, of Havana died Tuesday at 3:10 p.m. on Arkansas 27 after her southbound 2000 Honda Civic collided with a northbound dump truck, a report said.

Taff tried to pass another southbound vehicle south of Dardanelle, swerved back and then left the roadway. She over-corrected and went into the northbound lane, striking the dump truck, the report said.

Yell County deputy coroner Donna Wells pronounced Taff dead at the scene. State police say Ricky Bostian, 56, of Morrilton was not injured in the collision.
