LITTLE ROCK — President and CEO of the Make-A-Wish Foundation David Williams will speak Thursday at the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service.
Williams leads the foundation’s national staff and works closely with its 69 chapters in executing its mission of granting the wishes of children who have life threatening medical conditions.
Among his accomplishments have been initiating the development of Make-AWish University and expanding communications among the national office and chapters.
Before joining the Make-A-Wish Foundation, Williams spent 10 years with Habitat for Humanity International, rising to executive vice president and chief operating officer.
Those attending the noonto-1 p.m. lunch and lecture at Sturgis Hall in Little Rock may take along their lunches. Drinks will be provided.
