Man's body found in woods outside LR

LITTLE ROCK — Authorities are investigating after a man's body was found in a wooded area south of Little Rock.
The Pulaski County sheriff's office said Friday that the body was found Thursday afternoon about 50 feet into the woods north of Woodyard Road, which runs off of West Dixon Road.
An 18-year-old man told investigators he was racing with his cousin through the area when he noticed the body lying next to a tree.
The body was sent to the State Crime Laboratory for identification and further investigation. The cause of death wasn't immediately known, and it wasn't clear whether foul play is suspected.
