LITTLE ROCK — Wedding vows were exchanged by Samantha Nicole Bogard and Robert Lamar Alexander at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, in Full Counsel Ministries, North Little Rock. The Rev. Al Romes of St. Mark Community Church in Jacksonville officiated.
Willia and William Bogard of Jacksonville are the parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Sallie White of North Little Rock, the late Willie White of Newport and the late Cora and Roy Bogard of Carlisle.
The groom is the son of Valarie Sherrill of Little Rock. He is the grandson of Norma and the late Willie Brown of England.
Nuptial music was by Tavie Hampton and vocalists Doris Veley, Beverly Brantley and Marcus Cooper.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a strapless ivory satin princess-style gown with a cathedral train. She carried a hand-tied bouquet of flame calla lilies.
Serving as the bride’s honor attendants were Elizabeth Williams of New Orleans and Dr. Ashlie White of Little Rock. Bridesmaids were Brittany Benton, Sammi Bivens, Whitney Dobbins, Megan Gwatney, Tanica Howard, Sonih Jordon, Lashanda Smith and Martha White, all of Little Rock. Junior bridesmaid was Jordan Williams of New Orleans.
They wore plum-colored gowns of satin and chiffon and carried green hydrangeas.
Flower girls were Mia Robinson of St. Paul, Minn., and Kendall Williams of New Orleans.
Serving as best man was Courtney Grigsby of Houston.
Groomsmen were Cory Alexander, Lemontrell Blocker, DeAndre Jackson, Dewon Jones and Derrick Paris, all of Conway; D’Marcus Ingram, Lemontrius Blocker and Brien Macon, all of Little Rock; and Tristan Robinson of Alexander.
Guests were seated by Blake Alexander of St. Paul and Victor Roy Jr. of Sherwood.
A reception at the Clinton Presidential Center followed the ceremony. Guest tables held arrangements of flame calla lilies, lime green hydrangeas and branches.
The bride has a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha and the Junior League of Little Rock. She is an inside sales account manager with Hewlett Packard.
The groom has a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. He is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi and is also an inside sales account manager with Hewlett Packard.
The couple will live in Maumelle after a wedding trip to Honolulu.
