Longtime Murry's actor, director closes curtain

Glen J. Gilbert has closed the file on his 29-year career of acting and directing stage shows at Murry’s Dinner Playhouse in Little Rock, Ron Wolfe writes in Tuesday’s Style section.

Gilbert, 60, has a new role these days — clerk in the Pulaski Circuit/County Clerk’s office in Little Rock.

He remains the dinner theater’s artistic director. But as of now, he says, “My full-time job is at the clerk’s office,” and “I’m very proud of the work I do there.”

Read more about Gilbert, who has exited one stage for another, in Tuesday's Arkansas Democrat-Gazette.
