Body found in Grant County well

Authorities with the Grant County sheriff's office are investigating after a body was discovered in a Grant County well on Monday.
Chief Deputy Pete Roberts said the landowners called about noon on Monday requesting that officials check on their well after seeing something inside it.
Roberts said it was unknown as to how long the body had been in the well or how the person died. The sheriff's office is waiting on reports from the medical examiner to continue the investigation.
Roberts said he doubts the body that was found is in conjunction with any missing persons cases in the area.
