CONWAY — The family of a slain Conway rollerskating rink owner is now offering a reward for information about his murder.
Alicia Billings Page spoke at a press conference on Tuesday afternoon asking for anyone with any information about the murder of her father, Larry W. Billings, 60, to come forward. Billings was the owner of the Conway Roller Rink. The family is offering a reward of $15,000 for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person responsible.
Billings was found dead in the bedroom of his home on Canterberry Gap Road on Oct. 29. He died from a single gunshot wound, however authorities never found any signs of forced entry or struggle at the home. Billings' 2007 Nissan Titan was also stolen from the home. The family is still searching for it as well.
Page, who spoke with family members by her side, said the situation has been "horrendous". The struggle to find her father's killer hasn't allowed the family to be saddened over the loss, but rather angry, Page said.
"We haven't been able to grieve," she said. "I haven't even been able to cry yet."
Capt. Matt Rice of the Faulkner County sheriff's office added that the department has significant enough evidence to move forward with this case and is backing the family as they go forward with offering the reward money.
