Holdup at LR Exxon investigated

— Authorities say a Little Rock gas station off Interstate 30 near Interstate 430 was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday night.

It happened about 9 p.m. at the Exxon at 11701 Interstate 30.

According to a Little Rock Police Department report, the clerk told investigators a man with a gun jumped over the counter, pointed the weapon at her and told her to empty the register. Another man was reportedly with him.

After getting that cash, the robbers forced the clerk to crawl to the office and demanded she open the safe, the report said. She told them she couldn't open it, and they left the store a short time later.

Police say it's unclear whether the men fled on foot or in a vehicle.

The robbers are described as two black men. One was 6-foot-3, weighed about 160 pounds and was wearing a black hat, black shirt and black pants. The other is described as about 6-foot-3, weighing 170 pounds and between 20 and 23 years of age. He was wearing a white hat, a white hoodie and bluejeans, and had a white bandanna over his face, the report said.
