SAMUEL MARK EIFLING, 43, of Little Rock passed away suddenly on November 11, 2012 at his home. He was born on April 10, 1969 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas to his parents, Samuel and Marla. Mark was the youngest of two. He attended Memphis College of Art and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Art. He enjoyed art, motorcycles, hunting and target shooting with his father. Prior to a disabling injury in 2006, Mark worked in various capacities utilizing his artistic skills and also the family farming operations. Mark is survived by his sister, Alyssa Tolbert, and multiple cousins. Mark’s life will be remembered at a private family graveside. BILLY M. PHILLIPS, 85 of Sherwood, Arkansas went home tolive in heaven with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on November 15, 2012.
Ann Phillips, his loving and devoted wife of 62 years, his children, Michael (Linda Jo)Phillips and Leigh Ann (Buddy) Harvey, grandchildren, Josh Harvey and Dane Phillips, and great-grandchildren, Christopher and Paris Phillips, as well as his extended family and friends will cherish wonderful memories of Bill. All who knew Bill would agree that he was one of the most kind, gentle, and faithful men who has ever lived. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William and C.I. Phillips, and brother, C.K. Phillips.
He was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church. He was born in Jacksonville, Arkansas, on October 19, 1927, and graduated from Jacksonville High school. He was retired from Westinghouse (North American Phillips).

AUSTIN - Syble Sims, 89, of Austin passed away Oct. 12.Mrs. Sims was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Sims, and a son, Larry Sims. She’s fondly remembered as “the flower lady.” Her day lily and iris collection was often featured by P. Allen Smith on his HGTV show. She hosted a flower show every year that was attended by people as far away as Michigan.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary Jo Smith, of Lilburn, Ga.; a sister and brother-in-law, Betty and Lenus Mundt, from North Canton, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Marchia Sims; grandchildren, Lance and Tonya Sims, Dustin Sims, Ryan and Elizabeth Smith, and Amy Smith Osaba, and great-grandchildren, Payton Sims, Brady Sims, Noah Osaba, Miles Osaba and Maxwell Osaba.

BENTON - Helen May Jordan Lovell, 82, of Benton, Ark., wenthome to be with her Lord on November 15, 2012. She was born May 13, 1930 in Garrett, Indiana.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and BlancheRansom, and husbands, Calvin Jordan and James Lovell, and sisters, Joanne Sickman and Jean LaRowe. She is survived by three sons, Jim (Brenda) Jordan, Bobby (Donna) Jordan, and Rick (Brenda) Jordan; one daughter, Peggy (John) Mears; seven grandchildren, Amy (Andy) Beck, Carrie Wood, Charlie (Ashley) Mears, Diana (Matthew) Bryant, Ricky (Nicole) Jordan, Leslie Jordan, Brad (Rebecca) Heaton; seven great-grandchildren, Andrew and Jacob Jordan, Isabella Mears, River Jordan, Hannah and Hillary Bryant and Caleb Heaton. Helen is also survived by a host of relatives and friends. She loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also loved solving crossword puzzles and playing bingo.
The family wants to give a special thanks to her nephew, Dr. Randy Jordan, Dr. Morgan Sauer and the Hospice Home Care staff.

She was an electrolysis and department manager of the beauty shop in Dillard’s for many years. She and herhusband owned Case Trucking and were the former owners of Case Concrete Company in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was a member of the Good Sam’s Motor Club.
She is survived by her children, Mona Malone of Benton, Mrs. Roy (Elaine) Case of Hot Springs, C.W. and Sharon Breshers of Berea, Kentucky; grandchildren, Melody Case, Amy Ramos (Edwardo), C.W. SEARCY - Rommie Carroll Cheshier, 72 was born in Monticello, Arkansas, on January 13,1940, the son of Rommie Madison Cheshier and Lela Mason Riviere Cheshier. He was a 1958 graduate of Star City High School and graduated from University of Arkansas, Monticello in 1965.
He began his career as a social worker for the state of Arkansas. His ministry began when he became the Lay Associate for Roselawn Methodist Church in Hot Springs. He was also Music and Youth Director for First United Methodist Church, Searcy in 1967. He was Reverend at First Christian Church in Searcy for sixteen years. He also pastored Pleasant Plains United Methodist Church, Cornerstone Methodist Church, and Bradford United Methodist Church. Rommie served in the Air National Guard (223rd, Hot Springs) for 35 years. In addition, he owned his own business. His life mission was to serve others. His hobbies included fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary Lynn Burns Cheshier; a son, Rommie Burns Cheshier, and wife Melisa of Charlotte, North Carolina; a daughter, Carol Hutchison and husband Matthew of Searcy; one brother, Joe Tony Cheshier and wife, Billie of El Dorado, Arkansas; and one brother-in-law, Ralph Burns and wife Sally of Searcy; three grandchildren, Josh and Emilie Derington, and MariGracyn Hutchison, along with four nephews and their families. He is preceded indeath by his parents.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2 p.m. at The River church in Judsonia. Visitation will be from 12:30 until 2 p.m. at the church. STUTTGART - Nerene Anna Goetz Schwartz, 95, widow of Leonard Paul Schwartz, died Thursday at Dermott Nursing Home. Mrs. Schwartz was born September 6, 1917, at Lodge Corner, Arkansas, to Albert and Sadie Goetz. She was a member of Lodge Corner United Methodist Church and a homemaker.
Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Betty Heien. Survivors are her son, Billy Schwartz of McGehee; sonin-law, Sonny Heien of Stuttgart; three nieces, Sharon Burns Coffield of Birmingham, Alabama, Velma Jean Goetz Simpson of Stuttgart and Freda Ray Abbott of Hot Springs; five grandchildren, Richard Heien and Wayne Heien of Stuttgart, Mike Schwartz and Sid Schwartz of McGehee and Jon Schwartz of Benton; seven great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
