Where I live: I live in the Capitol View/Stifft Station neighborhood of Little Rock with my wife, Susan, and our two dogs, Louis and Etta. We absolutely love our home and neighbors.

Occupation: I am a social worker at the Central Arkansas Veterans Healthcare System/Fort Roots Campus, and I am an adjunct professor in the UALR School of Social Work’s Bachelor of Social Work Program. I moonlight as a professional musician/ drummer and I play in several bands which perform locally and regionally.

My favorite space: My drumroom.

Why: Because it is the one place where I can escape - to totally relax and get away from the real world. There I am surrounded by all my drums, some of which are rare and collectible. I can just bang away to my heart’s content and everyone is cool with that, including my wife, pets and neighbors, many of whom are also musicians.

If I could do one thing to improve this space, I would: Double the size of the room to include all the other instruments I am forced to keep in my downtown rehearsal loft because the drum room is so small and packed.
