Benton police search for armed robbers

The Benton Police Department is seeking two males in an armed robbery that happened about 1:10 p.m. at the Shell Superstop at 16824 on Interstate 30 in Benton.
The robbers, who police said had fled the scene, were described as young black males, wearing dark-colored jackets and bluejeans, police said. One suspect had a blue bandanna covering his face, while the other was described as wearing a red one.
Benton police said the suspects were armed with pistols that were displayed during the robbery and that they fled the business with an undisclosed amount of money.
