Arkansas 187 Bridge to shut for work

Routine maintenance on the Arkansas 187 Bridge over the White River at Beaver will require closures starting Monday, according to Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department officials.
The work on the Carroll County bridge will shut the one-lane bridge to traffic from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. each weekday for about three weeks, the department said.
Motorists should plan an alternate route during the closure periods, the department added.
