Thanksgiving Day closings

LITTLE ROCK — The following state, federal and local government offices’ schedules may be affected by the Thanksgiving Day holiday on Thursday.

GARBAGE COLLECTION

Cammack Village: Thursday routes will run Friday.

Jacksonville: Thursday routes will be one day early today.

Little Rock: Thursday and Friday routes will run one day late.

Little Rock Recycling: Thursday and Friday routes will run one day late.

Maumelle: Friday routes will run Monday. Next week Monday through Wednesday routes will run one day late.

North Little Rock: Thursday and Friday routes will run one day late.

Sherwood: Thursday routes will run today. Friday routes will run Monday.

Wrightsville: Regular schedule.

Unincorporated areas of Pulaski County:

North of the river: Thursday and Friday routes will run one day late.

South of the river: Thursday and Friday routes will run one day late.

GOVERNMENT OFFICES

Cammack Village: Offices close at noon today. Closed Thursday and Friday.

Jacksonville: Offices closed Thursday and Friday.

Little Rock Wastewater: Offices closed Thursday and Friday.

Little Rock: Offices closed Thursday and Friday.

Maumelle: Offices closed Thursday and Friday.

North Little Rock: Offices closed Thursday and Friday.

Sherwood: Offices closed Thursday and Friday.

Wrightsville: Offices closed Thursday and Friday.

Pulaski County: Offices closed Thursday and Friday.

Pulaski County Courthouse: Offices closed Thursday and Friday.

State: Offices closed Thursday and Friday.

Federal: Offices closed Thursday.

State Capitol: The State Capitol will be closed to visitors Thursday through Sunday.

POST OFFICE

Offices closed Thursday. Collection boxes will not be checked.

LIBRARIES

Central Arkansas Library System: The Main Library and all branches will close at 6 p.m. today. The Main Library and all branches will be closed Thursday and Friday. North Little Rock Laman Library: The library will close at 5 p.m. today. Closed Thursday and Friday.

Clinton Presidential Center: Closed Thursday.

SCHOOLS

Little Rock: Closed today throughFriday.

North Little Rock: Schools closed today. Schools and offices closed Thursday and Friday.

Pulaski County Special: Schools closed today. Schools and offices closed Thursday and Friday.

CENTRAL ARKANSAS TRANSIT AUTHORITY

Offices will be closed Thursday and Friday. Buses and River Rail streetcars will not run Thursday, but will resume their regular schedules Friday.

CENTRAL ARKANSAS WATER

Offices closed Thursday and Friday.

PARKING

The Little Rock parking enforcement unit won’t give tickets for metered and timed spaces Thursday or Friday in observance of Thanksgiving Day. However, metered parking at the airport will be enforced at all times. The Friday after Thanksgiving is always a free day for metered parking and timed spaces under the city’s parking ordinance.
