LITTLE ROCK — Legacy: An Appreciation of Change was held Nov. 15 at the Little Rock Country Club.
In celebrating the 25th anniversary of Centers for Youth and Families, the nonprofit organization took a look back at the merging of three organizations - Elizabeth Mitchell Children’s Center, the Junior League of Little Rock Parent Center and Stepping Stone Emergency Shelter - to create the current organization with its mission to build healthy children, families and communities.
Honored for their role in the 1987 merger were Donna McLarty, Kay Patton, Don Pfeifer, George Worthen and the late Bob Ross.
