— Pizza store robbed; 2 women arrested

Police arrested two Little Rock women Friday in the robbery of a Little Caesars pizza outlet.

Brianna Holmes, 21, and Tiffany Salley, 33, were charged with aggravated robbery and theft of property and were taken to the Pulaski County jail, police said. They were being held Saturday night without bail.

According to an arrest report, a woman wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt and a mask entered the store at 7509 Cantrell Road about 6:30 p.m. and demanded money. She placed her hand in a pocket and pointed her finger as though she had a weapon, the report states.

The report says the robber walked out with an undisclosed amount of money, got into a car driven by another woman and the two left.

Further investigation led officers to arrest Holmes and Salley at their neighboring apartments at 6900 Cantrell Road.

2 sought in holdup of grocery store

Pulaski County sheriff ’s deputies are searching for two men they say robbed a grocery store at gunpoint Saturday.

Just before 6 p.m., the men entered the Woodson Grocery at 8300 Woodson Lateral Road and demanded money, authorities said. The men fled on foot with cash, deputies said.

The men were described only as black.

No one was injured.
