— A former disc golf world champion from Arkansas and creator of a disc dyeing system remains jailed in Idaho after being arrested with 28 pounds of marijuana in his hotel room.

The Idaho Statesman reported that 54-year-old Jeffery Boyd Ash of Fayetteville is being held in lieu of $150,000 bond and his next court appearance is set for Dec. 5.

Ash was arrested Nov. 20 after a woman called police to report a man had shown her a cell-phone picture of his genitals.

Officers who responded found Ash smoking marijuana and found two duffel bags of pot in the room.

The Statesman reported that Ash was a member of the University of Arkansas baseball team that competed in the College World Series in 1979 and was a 2003 world disc golf champion.
