Arkansas Democrat-Gazette/STATON BREIDENTHAL --2/23/12 -- Congressman Tim Griffin Thursday morning during a press conference in Little Rock.
LITTLE ROCK — Republican U.S. Rep. Tim Griffin of Arkansas has been promoted to lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve.
Griffin’s office Monday announced that he had been awarded the increase in rank.
Griffin is serving his 16th year in the Reserve Judge Advocates General’s Corps and is assigned to the Southeast Medical Area Readiness Support Group.
Griffin is one of nine congressmen currently serving in the military.
Griffin is a former interim United States attorney who served in the White House under former President George W. Bush.
He was elected to represent Arkansas’ 2nd congressional district in 2010 and won re-election earlier this month.

I am not slamming Griffin for serving in the military. I am slamming him for other reasons--mostly the environment and also for the Bud Cummins incident.

mr brittain,i didn`t see where vic had been mentioned.yes he does lean more towards liberal than conservitive but i don`t see him posting on here.
pop it does not matter who they are or what they did.if they are conservitive you are going to slam them and if they are liberal you are going to praise them.you want to say all conservitives are liars and have shady business dealings,but do you not think the libs are just as bad?what about clinton and whitewater?or everytime king putt opens his mouth!!
bs,i`d say by the votes counted the people in his district were happy with the job he is doing.
