Beebe to address Farm Bureau convention

LITTLE ROCK — The Arkansas Farm Bureau is starting its annual convention.
The organization’s meeting begins Wednesday and runs through Friday at the Hot Springs Convention Center.
Gov. Mike Beebe is to address the group at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Farm Bureau President Randy Veach says the convention’s theme is “Seeds of Change,” and the convention will focus on the extreme weather that farmers endured this year, from the drought to the remnants of Hurricane Isaac.
