Blytheville school picks 2 finalists for president

BLYTHEVILLE — Arkansas Northeastern College has narrowed its search for the school’s next president to two finalists.
The Blytheville Courier News reported that a presidential search committee has named Dale Doty and James Shemwell as finalists for the position.
Doty is vice president for academic affairs at Florence-Darling Technical College in Florence, S.C.
Shemwell is currently vice president for finance at Arkansas Northeastern College.
The job came open when former president Robin Myers was named chancellor of Arkansas State University-Mountain Home earlier this year.
Arkansas Northeastern College is a nonresidential two-year school with campuses in Blytheville, Burdette, Leachville, Osceola and Paragould.
