LITTLE ROCK — Nuptial vows were exchanged by Lauren Elizabeth Miller and William Gregory Ballard Jr. at 6 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, in Trinity United Methodist Church. Officiating were the Rev. Betsy Singleton Snyder and Jay Sweningson.
She is the daughter of Tandy and Brent Miller, 364 North Ridge Road, and the granddaughter of Jerry and the late June Miller of Little Rock, Amata and the late Dr. Charles Smith of North Little Rock, and Kay and the late Dr. Harley Weatherly of Conway.
Shelia and Greg Ballard of Maumelle are the parents of the groom. His grandparents are the late Marion and W.M. Ballard of Little Rock and the late Billie and Carl Cunningham of Rolla.
The chancel held white arrangements of calla lilies. Music was by organist David Glaze.
The bride, given in marriage by her father, wore a semi-cathedral length gown embellished at the waist with rhinestones and crystal beading. She carried a calla lily bouquet.
Emily Miller of Fayetteville served as her sister’s maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Mary Bolling of Conway, sister of the groom; Ashley Clawson of Memphis, cousin of the bride; and Lindsey Forbess, Angelica Mercado and Sindy Gomes, all of Little Rock. They wore mercury cocktail dresses and carried arm bouquets of calla lilies.
Flower girl and ring bearer were Anabelle Bolling of Conway, niece of the groom, and Timothy Minney of Benton.
The best man was the groom’s father. Groomsmen were J.P. Bolling of Conway; Ryan Patrick of White Hall; and Ross Burnham, Jim Gao and Andrew Miller, brother of thebride, all of Little Rock.
A reception in the Arkansas Arts Center atrium followed the ceremony. Decorations included towering arrangements of calla lilies and lily grass.
The bride received a bachelor’s degree in political science and history from the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. She has a juris doctorate from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Bowen School of Law and is a member of the Arkansas Bar Association. She is an associate at Hilburn, Calhoon, Harper, Pruniski & Calhoun of North Little Rock.
The groom has a bachelor’s degree in graphic design from UCA and is a graphic designer for Poloplaz Inc. in Jacksonville.
After a honeymoon in Navarre Beach, Fla., the couple will reside in Little Rock.
