— Wedding vows were exchanged by Elizabeth Antoinette Manney and Cole Evan Prenger at 5 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, under a large oak tree at Wilson Park, Fayetteville.

The bride is the daughter of Amber and John Manney, 11 Lorine Circle. Her grandparents are Jo and the late Gerald Ashley of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Jane and the late James Manney of Little Rock.

The groom is the son of Donna and the late Michael Wayne Prenger of Jefferson City, Mo. His grandparents are Charles and the late Mary Elizabeth Kuensting and the late Norma and Pete Prenger, all of Jefferson City.

Paper lanterns of various sizes were hung at varying heights from the large oak tree where the ceremony was performed. Glass bottles filled with purple hydrangeas were attached with raffia to natural tree stakes marking the aisle. Music was by violinist Andrew Chu and guitarist Ethan Moll .

Given in marriage by her father, the bride wore a strapless cream chiffon gown with a sweetheart neckline. Her birdcage veil was attached with a cream feather. She carried a bouquet of purple hydrangeas, orange calla lilies and hypericum berries.

Ashley Kafka of Charleston, S.C., sister of the bride, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Emily Walker of Tulsa; Melissa Dickinson of Chicago; Emili Jack of Washington; Mary Tipton Thalheimer, Kacee Caple and Lauren Bradbury, all of Little Rock; Kaci Capps of Winston-Salem, N.C.; and Sara Price of Dallas. Attendants wore chocolate brown dresses in a style of their choice.

Greer Kafka of Charleston, niece of the bride, carried an antique brass bell that she rang to announce the entrance of the bride. Ring bearer was Rhea Tyler Kafka of Charleston, nephew of the bride.

Brett Garrison Prenger of Kansas City, Mo., served as his brother’s best man. Groomsmen were Bryan York of Prairie Village, Kan.; Gino Paternostro of Oklahoma City; Peter Works-Leary of Dallas; Jeff Gschwender of Troy, Mo.; Jeff Hinds of Ashland, Mo.; Chance Chapman of Fayetteville; Richard Sheets of Rogers; and Brent Stegemann of Columbia, Mo. Guests were seated by William Brian Wright and James Gerald Manney, both of Little Rock and brothers of the bride .

A reception was held at The Powerhouse. Guests tables were covered in burlap tablecloths and held arrangements of purple hydrangeas in Mason jars. Music was by Yo MaMa’s Big Fat Booty Band.

The bride is a graduate of the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville with a bachelor’s degree in communications. She is employed with the National Institute for Excellence in Teaching in Fayetteville.

The groom is a graduate of Westminster College with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science. He is director of operations with IO Metro in Fayetteville.

After a wedding trip to Napa Valley, Calif., the couple will reside in Fayetteville.
