— The death of a Little Rock woman found by Pulaski County sheriff’s deputies on Saturday is now being investigated as a homicide.

Although sheriff’s office officials wouldn’t say how Kimberly Espino Davis, 29, was killed, agency spokesman Lt. Carl Minden said investigators are asking family and friends to come forward and help.

Investigators didn’t identify Davis until early Tuesday afternoon, three days after her body was found in the 8000 block of Harper Road, nor did they offer a cause of death.

It wasn’t until an autopsy was conducted at the Arkansas Crime Laboratory that her death was ruled a homicide.

Davis’ death marks the sixth homicide in Pulaski County this year.
