John Anthony Arnoult, 28, is accused in the killings of John Poff, 57, and Constance “Connie” Cole, 56. Police found the two in Poff’s mobile home on Viva Drive in Trumann the afternoon of Sept. 2.

The two suffered from blunt-force trauma and gunshot wounds, police said.

Prosecuting Attorney Scott Ellington of Jonesboro said he has not determined if he will seek the death penalty against Arnoult.

Arnoult remained held without bail Monday in the Poinsett County jail in Harrisburg.

His trial is tentatively scheduled to begin Dec. 17 in Poinsett County Circuit Court.
