Jonesboro man held in Trumann deaths

— Authorities have arrested a Jonesboro man on capital-murder charges in the deaths of two Trumann residents.

Arkansas State Police Lt. Brant Tosh said John Arnoult, 28, was arrested Sunday. Arnoult is accused in the Sept. 2 deaths of onstance “Connie” Cole, 56, and John Poff, 57.

Cole and Poff were found dead in Poff’s mobile home in Trumann by a maintenance man conducting a welfare check.

Tosh told The Jonesboro Sun that authorities are not pursuing any additional suspects.

Arnoult is being held in the Poinsett County jail. Authorities did not know if he had an attorney.
